Robert Pattinson EXCLUSIVE! Check Out His Full Audition Tape For 'How To Be'

Robert Pattinson EXCLUSIVE! Check Out His Full Audition Tape For 'How To Be'

Posted 1 hr ago by Terri Schwartz in Crush Exclusive!, Hot Stuff, Movies, Twilight Forever!, Videos

On Friday we told you about Access Hollywood's teaser look at 20-year-old Robert Pattinson's audition tape for the 2008 quirky comedy "How To Be," but today we have for you all eight minutes (see the first minute after the jump) of the full audition, which is included on the film's DVD (out November 17).

In the first clip of three from our exclusive, Rob has a back and forth unhappy banter with a woman whose character is named Jessica in what seems like a break up scene. "How To Be" is about how Rob's character Art moves back in with his parents and hires a full-time self-help guru after said break up.

In the British accent we miss so much in "Twilight," Rob addresses Jessica and asks, "What if I told you something about my childhood? Maybe you'll understand. Maybe you'll reconsider."

She replies with, "But this about us now. It's just not working. When we first met you seemed so elusive and brooding and intense: the enigmatic poet. What I took to be really deep and mysterious has turned out to be just sad and unhappy."

We begin to understand why they might be having some issues when he responds with, "Well at least I'm not a f---ing bitch."

Rob seems just as uncomfortable in front of the audition camera as he is in front of the paparazzi; always aware of it yet never looking directly at it. We're sure the awkward facial expressions he was making were only to add life to the lack of set, and hopefully didn't make it into the film.

After a bit more back and forth, he angrily tells her, "No, you're not ready for this kind of commitment," but then seems to trip over his lines and breaks out into laughter, asking if he can start the scene over again.

To see more of Rob's audition, don't miss clip 2 and clip 3 from our exclusive show!

A New New Moon Preview: Jacob Attacks Edward!

Originally posted Thursday October 22, 2009 12:45 PM EDT

In the latest New Moon clip to hit the web, fanpires finally get a look at Jacob (Taylor Lautner) and Edward (Robert Pattinson) battling it out!

When an annoyed Edward sends him flying through the forest, Jacob transforms into a werewolf and comes charging at the vamp, leaving Bella (Kristen Stewart) stranded between the two, desperately calling for an end to the fight.

The Jacob-centric preview features new footage of Bella's best bud in werewolf form, including scenes from the wolf pack's attack on villainous vampires Victoria (Rachelle Lefevre) and Laurent (Edi Gathegi). "We only kill who we're trying to protect you from," Jacob declares.

Lautner, 17, who famously fought to reprise his role, is sure to steal fans from the Team Edward camp according to costar Jackson Rathbone, 24.

"I think people are going to be really blown away by his performance," the actor – who plays Cullen clan member Jasper Hale – told MTV. "You have these great moments that Jacob just completely is winning over Bella. And it's just beautiful to see it."

New Moon hits theaters Nov. 20.

Seth Meyers wants 'Twilight' hunk Rob Pattinson's hair to host 'Saturday Night Live'

Robert-pattinson
Seth Meyers told E! at last night's Emmy Awards that the "Saturday Night Live" crew would love to get Robert Pattinson as a host this season.
I mean, where else do you go after Megan Fox, who hosts this weekend's season premiere? No offense to Megan but "Jennifer's Body" didn't do so great at the box office last weekend.
And Rob for sure would make SNL's ratings go through the roof.
"We're actually hoping if [Rob's] not available, at least his hair will come by and host," Meyers added. We'll take any Robert body part we can get. How about you?http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/thedishrag/2009/09/seth-meyers-wants-rob-pattinsons-hair-to-host-saturday-night-live.html

Apparitions and abs set Twilighters' hearts on fire at Comic-Con in San Diego, with the unveiling of two new scenes from the Twilight sequel, New Moon.

In the first clip, Bella (Kristen Stewart) takes her first ride on a motorcycle built for her by best bud Jacob (Taylor Lautner). As she mounts the bike, putting her usually clumsy self in danger, Edward's (Robert Pattinson) apparition appears warning her to be cautious.

Craving to see her vampire love, who fled Forks so she could have a normal life, Bella speeds up only to crash and injure herself. Jacob then runs to her aid, taking off his T-shirt (revealing his ripped abs in the process!) for her to wipe the blood from her forehead.

"You're sorta beautiful," Bella says, igniting her passion for her once-platonic pal.

The second clip, which can be viewed on YouTube, shows Bella frantically in pursuit of Edward (also shirtless!) in Italy in an effort to prevent him from stepping out into the sunlight and revealing his true, sparkling self.

Kristen Stewart talks Edward hallucinations in 'New Moon,' says Bella is the 'hero' of the story

At Comic-Con, MTV caught up with The Twilight Saga: New Moon stars Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner to discuss many aspects of the up-coming film, and this interview was particularly interesting of the lot.

In the video, Stewart talks about the fact that Robert Pattinson will be appearing in the film as flittering images instead of just a sound hallucination. Her opinion, it seems, is that there would be a bit of a distortion between the real Edward and the hallucinated voice Edward in Bella's head, so it was easier to do apparitions instead of audio only. She also makes note of the fact that there needed to be more of Pattinson in the film "for whatever reason," and that Edward is, to Bella, a source of reason.

Stewart also stated that she really enjoyed New Moon because Bella gets to be the hero of the story instead of it always being Edward saving the day.

So, what do you think about that? Is Bella the real hero in New Moon?

There are actually quite a few heroes, it seems, in the story if you think about it. Most obviously, Jacob is a sort of savior as he pulls Bella from the trenches of wallow. Also, Emily is a bit of a hero for the wolfpack (as are Sam and Billy Black). As far as the storyline goes, too, Alice is a bit of a hero as well.

Of course, Stewart may be correct to state that Bella is a hero in certain scenes - particularly those in the ending, Italian sequences. Comment below with your thoughts!

'Eclipse' Casting Call: Tom Felton Could Play Riley In The Third 'Twilight' Movie

Posted July 14th, 2009 by Terri Schwartz in Hot Stuff, Movie News, Twilight Forever!

Tom FeltonMaybe its his boyish good looks, his charming smile or his perfectly mastered snarl, but there's something about Tom Felton that makes us want more. The "Harry Potter" star is sure to wow audiences with his tortured portrayal of Draco Malfoy in tomorrow's (!) "Half-Blood Prince" and maybe even earn some Oscar buzz now that the Academy Awards have opened themselves up to 10 nominees.

But, there is a different sort of buzz going on from a fan circuit often found opposing "Harry Potter": "Twilight" fans are clamoring for Tom to play Victoria's lackey Riley in 2010's "Eclipse."

Tom isn't the first guy "Twilight" fans have latched onto for the role. First Melissa Rosenberg, screenplay scribe for "The Twilight Saga," threw a curveball when she told E! News she pictured Channing Tatum as Riley in the epic battle at the end of "Eclipse." Then, Evil Iguana Productions fans rampaged the comments section of the article begging for Craig Deering to be cast as the role of Riley. Tom is one in a long line of fan-favorites to play the role, but he is quickly becoming the most popular.

"Ill be ready when they want me! Really, I'm only joking. Im not really sure at this point; but you will be the first to know if I find out anything!" Tom told his fansite, Feltbeats.com. He reiterated the sentiment on his Twitter, saying, "i keep getting asked if im being cast as Riley in Twilight! Ill let you all know if so!!!"

If Tom does make the cut, he will join Robert Pattinson as the second actor to make the jump between series, though newcomer Jamie Campbell Bower is also going to be joining the fray as Caius in "New Moon" and Gellert Grindelwald in "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" Part 1 and 2.

As long as behind-the-scenes footage of The Twilight Saga: New Moon keeps surfacing that reveals little more than Taylor Lautner's biceps, we thought we might as well make a separate PopWatch category for it. Ergo, the Taylor Lautner Bicep Watch. We launch with the video below. Taylor Lautner's biceps make their appearance at 2:10. (Robert Pattinson appears at 2:53, for eight seconds. Wah waaaaaah.)

Robert Pattinson: Sexy on the Set

Having worked through the weekend, Robert Pattinson was back on the set this morning (June 15) for another day of filming “Remember Me.”

The hunky “Twilight” stud worked it for the camera like a seasoned pro, sporting a plaid button-up shirt with a t-shirt underneath and jeans with sneakers.

Rob’s “New Moon” costar Ashley Greene recently told press that she’s a bit worried that Pattinson’s fame is a little too much for him.

She explained, “Oh God. Poor Rob is already a Beatle. His whole life is documented. If he picks his nose, it’s all over the Internet. He’s just done for. I think he’s kinda freakin’ out, like, ‘What the f--k is going on?’”

Robert Pattinson: On the scene at his New York movie shoot (sans vampires)

Robert Pattinson: On the scene at his New York movie shoot (sans vampires)

Jun 15, 2009, 04:40 PM | by Aly Semigran

Categories: Movie Biz, On the Scene, Robert Pattinson, Twilight

Robert Pattinson's new movie, which is tentatively titled Remember Me, began filming in New York City this afternoon. As an exasperated crew member was overheard complaining, "They might as well call it Paparazzi and 'Tweens, 'cause there's more of us than them!" It was a fair statement considering how the crowd had swelled substantially (a rough estimate of 200) outside of NYU's Silver Center of Arts & Science, after fans had texted and called their friends to get to downtown Manhattan, like, omigod, right now!

The scene in question was of Pattinson (wearing a plaid shirt and donning those now-trademark sunglasses between takes) walking down the street while talking to a friend, smoking a cigarette, and holding a cup of coffee (he's versatile!). During one scene, the actor who plays Pattinson's friend mockingly yelled, "Have a good day, sweetheart!" as he walked away.

Oh, how the hundreds of girls who lined Washington Square Park would have loved to yell that to the Twilight star -- though the couple of "I love you Robert!"s and "I love you Edward!"s that squeaked in will inevitably make for some tough sound editing. Members of the mostly young, female crowd, some of whom had skipped school and arrived at the scene as early as 9 a.m. to watch their beloved Pattinson, said they had been tipped off by onlocationvacations.com. While the crowd mostly kept calm during filming, once the movie broke for lunch, a flood of girls chased Pattinson as he was escorted to his next location. So will this wreak havoc on Remember Me's fliming or will the cast and crew simply have to up the security/location ante?

'The Twilight Saga New Moon' Trailer Analysis

'The Twilight Saga New Moon' Trailer Analysis
Monday, June 01, 2009
Goodbye.jpgI make no apologies about how big of a Twilight fan I am. I'm obsessed. I watched all of the MTV Movie Awards last night just so that I could catch every single shot of Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and the rest of the Twilight crew. I shushed the room every time one of them opened their mouths to speak. I downloaded the New Moon trailer and have watched it over and over again. Because of all this, I've noticed a couple of awesome and a couple not-so-awesome trailer moments I'd like to share with you today.

First, let me say that I think the trailer is amazing. Twilight won all the awards possible last night (almost) but it also won in the exclusive trailer/clip arena. As a Harry Potter fan as well, I was sorely disappointed to find out that the clip was a slightly extended version of one of the trailers. Moreover, the cast didn't even attend the awards to present the "exclusive" footage. Fail. Twilight, on the other hand, rocked my world. From earlier last week when I saw the first 14 seconds to today when I finished my fifteenth view of the trailer, I've been captivated in body and mind. Edward, Bella, Jacob and the rest of the characters in this wonderfully angst-ridden novel have come to life. When I start rereading New Moon (again) tonight, I know my imagination will take off from where this trailer started. I will love New Moon. No doubt.

So, starting from the beginning of the trailer:

Hit: The first 14 seconds are so beautiful. There are no words. The Edward and Bella kiss is great. We all know what she really wanted for her birthday.

Miss:
Kristen Stewart is a bit too coy for Bella when asking for this kiss. Not by a lot, but after watching the trailer over and over again I just know I find something off about it.

Hit:
The love confession is pure gushy romance perfection.

Hit:
Alice's over-enthusiasm. I really wanted Alice and Bella to develop a deep friendship in New Moon and this looks promising.

Miss:
Am I forgetting something? Why does Edward look so upset at the beginning of Bella's party? Did they just have the "I want to be a vampire like you" fight before this? He looks like he's going to kill Esme as she hugs Bella.

Hit:
Rosalie, however, is supposed to be scowling at the party and Nikki Reed appears to be nailing it.

Miss:
After Jasper tries to attack Bella, Rosalie looks concerned. I'm pretty sure that wouldn't happen.

Hit:
The goodbye scene. It's going to break my heart. I know it. Also, we don't get any Kristen Stewart freak outs like at the end of Twilight.

Miss:
Why, oh why couldn't they just give me Edward's Meadow? This scene is taking place in a meadow but it's definitely not Edward's. Edward's meadow would be much prettier.

Hit:
Taylor Lautner's abs. I think a lot of women are reminding themselves that he's only 17 years old.

Slight Miss:
So at first I was really bothered because in the book, the wolf pack saves Bella from Laurent and she doesn't know it's Jacob. It adds to the suspense and the eventual reveal. In the trailer, it looks like Jacob phases in front of Bella to save her from Laurent but it's very clearly two scenes. She's wearing a brown jacket in one and a blue jacket with her backpack on in the other. I don't know how the werewolf reveal will work out, but I hope it's good.

Concern:
The CGI is very "Chronicles of Narnia" and I actually didn't like the CGI for those movies so I'm a bit concerned about the werewolves.

Overall, I squealed so much there's no denying how much I love this trailer. 11.20.09 is burned into my brain. I can't help but sit and wait in anticipation. Check out the slideshow of my analysis to see all the pictures that go along with my comments:
