At Comic-Con, MTV caught up with The Twilight Saga: New Moon stars Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner to discuss many aspects of the up-coming film, and this interview was particularly interesting of the lot.

In the video, Stewart talks about the fact that Robert Pattinson will be appearing in the film as flittering images instead of just a sound hallucination. Her opinion, it seems, is that there would be a bit of a distortion between the real Edward and the hallucinated voice Edward in Bella's head, so it was easier to do apparitions instead of audio only. She also makes note of the fact that there needed to be more of Pattinson in the film "for whatever reason," and that Edward is, to Bella, a source of reason.

Stewart also stated that she really enjoyed New Moon because Bella gets to be the hero of the story instead of it always being Edward saving the day.

So, what do you think about that? Is Bella the real hero in New Moon?

There are actually quite a few heroes, it seems, in the story if you think about it. Most obviously, Jacob is a sort of savior as he pulls Bella from the trenches of wallow. Also, Emily is a bit of a hero for the wolfpack (as are Sam and Billy Black). As far as the storyline goes, too, Alice is a bit of a hero as well.

Of course, Stewart may be correct to state that Bella is a hero in certain scenes - particularly those in the ending, Italian sequences. Comment below with your thoughts!
